Annie Appel

Annie Appel devoted herself to photography with her first print in the darkroom when she was 10 years old. A documentary/fine arts photographer, her work can be found in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, as well as in private and corporate
collections throughout the United States. She has a Bachelor's in Fine Art photography from both Art Center College of Design and a Master's from California State University, Fullerton. Most recently, she has been featured in author Leslie Jamison’s collection of essays on

Silvia Askenazi

Silvia Askenazi, Instructor and founder of Tango San Pedro, was born in Buenos Aires, and moved to Los Angeles almost 20 years ago,
where she started dancing Tango, learning from many of the local
teachers and milongueros, and from visiting teachers and Maestros from Argentina. She has been dancing for more than 16 years and sharing her passion at her studio in San Pedro since 2009. More information HERE
